Ghost(s) Of Gold Camp Road

On November 15, 2020 we drove the scenic drive to Gold Camp Road between Victor Colorado and Colorado Springs. After seeing the obligatory rams standing in the highway and taking the rough road to one of the tunnels, we parked, got our equipment, and ventured inside.

It was windy, very windy, so much so that attempting to get any EVP’s was impossible. With the weather being but it was I decided to shoot pictures of the tunnel and see what we could see. My partner lagged and felt colder than it was (and it was cold outside, even colder with the wind, but this chill was different). Upon examining the pictures, we were surprised to find a large mist, across the tunnel from her, that when enlarged, looks like a skull staring at her.

Please take time to examine the pictures, and notice that the mist is not from the light at the end of the tunnel, as it is curved, and the light breaks off before the mist. This is, at this point, unexplained, and just another mystery of the tunnels on Gold Camp Road where miners are rumored to have died, a school bus is alleged to have been crushed or hit by a train. Aside from being beautiful, Gold Camp Road is a spirit adventure.
